Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains Review - 2016 BMW X1

Today on our 2016 BMW X1 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC1553. The tire set we're working with today is 225 50 R18.What I really like about these chains is that they're very easy to install thanks to our color coded connection points. They're also self tensioning, meaning we don't have to purchase any extra rubber adjusters to make sure that our chains stay snug against our tire. It's gonna be all contained right here. The chains are SAE class S certified. Meaning they're great for vehicles with low wheel-well clearance like our BMW X1.These chains have a diamond pattern which is gonna provide more coverage around your tire, rather than the ladder pattern. This is gonna give you better traction through rough conditions. The steel square lengths are gonna dig into the snow and ice and give your great traction through stops, starts, and turns. These chains have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour, and they come in a set of two with this nice carrying case for easy storage. The first thing you want to do is lay out your chains flat like this. more
